You are probably thinking of starting an internet home business if you are reading this.  I hope my thoughts and suggestions here are helpful to you and they save you some time and money on your search.  I am a strange mixture of over 30 years land line business experience, and less that 2 years internet business experience, but that I believe gives me the best possible combination to be of help to you.

I have started, helped, developed and been involved in thousands of land line businesses over the last 30 years, enough to last me a life time, and based on that, I thought that starting up an internet home business would be a walk in the park.  Mistake number one.  I badly underestimated the complexity of an internet business, and the result has been a wasted year and a half learning the right way to do it, if such a thing exists on the internet.

That is the start of the process that entails getting set up on the internet to do business, wading through the quagmire of assumptions, half truths, guesses and what passes for the truth on the internet in regards to properly setting up an internet business opportunity.  I wish there was a definitive book that told you what to do and not to do about setting up shop on the internet.  If there is such a book, let me know, I will go buy it immediately!  What the new people are left to do is to shift through the mountain of information out there and to try to make sense of it the best we can.  In my case, to be honest, I did a lousy job of it, the first at least.

If I had to do it all over again, I would do it 100% differently and even then, I am not too sure if I would get it right the second or third time around.  That is just the nature of the beast.  The inherent problem with trying to start up a new internet home business is the rules are not really rules, and what ever the rules ere yesterday, they have changed for today, and on top of that, no one has a copy of the rules, because they are kept a secret!

If you are brand spanking new to the internet, you need to understand this aspect of doing business here, the people who hold you livelihood in their hands, the search engines, want you to set up your business according to some secret formula only they know, and they are not going to tell what that formula is, you have to guess at it. If that sounds like the most ridiculous thing you have ever heard of, it gets worse, much worse.

The search engines, are like the door man at the front of the hotel, if they do not like the look of you, you do not get into the hotel, the problem for you is this, all of your potential customers are in that hotel, of you do not gain access to the hotel, through the search engine door man, you are basically out of business, at least as far as the internet is concerned.

To be fair, the problem the search engines, (S.E.), have is this: of the millions of internet business opportunities out there, all of them want to get into the same hotel, not only that, they want to get into the hotel FIRST, before any one else.  This creates one hell of a traffic jam to say the least.  Our job, as owners of our single internet business opportunity is this: to find a way to get to the front of the line, and then gain access to that hotel where all of our future customers are.  Not an easy task.

How to get to the front of the line and then to get into the hotel is a process that takes time, effort and some understanding of the whole relationship between us, internet home business owners, and them, the search engines.
