So I figured, why not poke a little fun at the insanity, and at the same time, maybe get your attention.

Let’s be clear, I am offering you 1,023 steps to help you change your life.

What I am NOT offering you is the promise that it will take 12 minutes.

As far as the easy part is concerned, I will deal with that a little latter on.

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO DO TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE ??

If by chance you are totally happy with every aspect of your life, then I have nothing for you, good luck and have a great day.

IF……….. You are looking to make some changes in how your life is working out for you so far, and then you are in luck.

I just happen to have 1,023 ways, steps, ideas that will enable you to change your life.

As for the easy part, I DO have a very different and unique way of you accessing my material, one that will allow you to spend as much time or as  little time as you wish, on changing, improving, altering, and enhancing  your life.

Let’s be honest, 1,023 steps are a lot of steps, even if they are short ones, baby steps, that still ads up to a lot of steps.

The problem is, life can be complicated, and there are no quick fixes, even on the Internet.

I could have done what most people on the internet are trying to do, give you a scam, give you some sort of smoke and mirrors solution that sounds good, but the reality is, when the rubber meets the road, there are no quick fixes in life.

I have been compiling my list of steps for the past 35 years or so, so when I say I have 1,023 of them, I am actually fibbing a bit, there are more than that, but I figured if I actually told you how many there were, you would really flip out and stop reading, so I settled on 1,023., and No, I do not have any idea why I settled on that number.

Back to my question, WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO DO TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE??

Are you prepared to spend the time it will take to go through all 1,023 steps I have (actually it’s more)?

Even I am not sure how long that would take, but does it really matter, who the heck has the time it would take.

BUT ……………, do you have less than 5 minutes a day to spend on changing your life?

Less than 5 minutes is manageable, isn’t it?  When you consider the benefits you are going to receive, less than 5 minutes a day is with in every persons grasp.

This is where it gets a bit tricky. This is where I say to you, I will SEND you one of my steps every day in your in box, all you have to do is open it and you will be on your way to changing your life. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it.

The problem with that method, there are in fact, several problems with it:

#1. The last thing in the world you want is something else to be sent to your in box, especially something that will be sent day after day after day. This is not a good way to change your life; in fact it’s a way to really tick you off and to turn you I off, am I right?

#2 You want to control how and when you are going to start to change your life, having stuff sent to your in box is not going to give you the control you want,  my method will give you both.

#3 Not only do you want to control how and when you want to access my  material, you want to have a say in WHAT you access, my method will enable you to do that.

#4 Time is an issue for everyone, with things jamming up your in box, all that is going to happen is that you are just going to get behind, and behind, and one day you press the Delete button and there goes your chance to change your life, you get to see that neat picture of your e mails floating through the air on their way to the delete bin, not the way to change any ones life.

Do you see where I am going with this?

I needed a way to make sure that you would ACTUALLY use my 1,023, or at least start by looking at them. I needed a way, other than the tried and true method of filling your email box with them; a way we all agree is not a good one.

How about this one.

You decide, when, how many, which ones, you are going to look at, based on your time table, your availability, and finally, the most important, when you are going to be most receptive.

Regardless of how good the material is, unless you are ready to a look at it, absorb it and start to implement it, its is just going to be wasted on you.

My method to get you to change your life is simple, easy, and very effective. It has been tried, tested and proven to be very effective, beneficial and most of all, it WILL change your life.

Step # 1.

My internet home business tip of the week is simple, plan twice, act once. The importance of this is best illustrated when you look at the results we are getting, or in too many cases, the lack of results. Ever wonder why we are not accomplishing as much as we want to , or as much as we think we should be accomplishing? Most people look at the business, in our case, our internet home business web sites. We look at the site, the products, the layout and see if the answer lies in this area. 35 plus years tells me the answer lies else where.

Give 100 people the same business, this happens on the internet all of the time. What is going to separate the top 10 web sites from the bottom 90? They all have the same internet home business, the same products, they all have the same opportunity to succeed,  a few do, the rest fail, why?

The successful ones spend their time on activities  that reap them the greatest returns for the time invested. They use their time more wisely, they used time management to their advantage better than the people who are not as successful. When was the last time you spent time on organizing, planning and prioritizing what you were going to do for the next day? Less than 5 % of the people who own an internet home business can answer ,in the last week,  which just happens to be the percentage of people who are successful in starting and operating a new internet home business.

My message on this site is simple, spend some of your time working on the skills  that are going to make you successful, regardless of the internet home business that you may decide to settle on. The real value to you on working and developing your business skills is that regardless of the business you pick, you are now prepared to properly run that business, and all future ones. You want to always pick activities that will be able to continually pay you off for ever. Knowledge is power, power is money. once you have the knowledge ,  that knowledge will always be able to help you make money , in spite of the business you pick, not because of the business you pick.

People seem willing to take golf lessons, they have no problem going back to school to pick up a course or two to better run their computers, cooking lessons, driving lessons, I could never figure out peoples reluctance on spending time on bettering their personal and business skills. It has always been a tough sell, it has not gotten any easier over the last 35 years, probably even harder with the onset of the computer generation. People are confusing being wired with being in control and in charge, all  computers have allowed us to do is make the same mistakes, only faster !!

If you are looking at starting an internet home business, start to look at the mechanics of operating your business, spend some time on asking people who are already doing business on the internet what difficulties they have or are experiencing, spend some time to make sure that you are doing the right thing at the right time, based on your personal set of circumstances and skill set.

If you are looking at starting an internet home business, you need to know  where your profits are going to be coming from, before you take the plunge. Before we start on where you think or want your profits to come from, lets take a look at when those profits, from what ever sources, may start to come. Based on that, its important to get information that is based on the facts and the truth, as I see it, and not some information that is put up here to sell other peoples affiliate products.

Yes, I DO have an affiliate product of my own which I am launching on October 1st, which may appear to be a conflict of interest. There is no conflict, the product that I have is one that will benefit anyone who is interested in changing their life, people have the option to receive the product for FREE, then decide if they wish to be an affiliate. What makes my product unique is that people take the information and decide what they want to work with and what they wish to either ignore, or look at latter, the whole concept is up to them, work on what you want on your own time table. How we manage our time, is the basics of  time management, is what determines how well we do in life, it makes simple basic sense. I am making good progress on my first Affiliate product, one that I feel will be a big hit for any one who has an internet home business and is looking for ways to increase their revenue from their web site. I am thinking that the way to get people to add my product to their web site is to give it away for free! What do you think? I am tired of seeing people offer up their product to people, encourage them to become an affiliate  and then ask them to buy the product first.

If you own an internet home business web site and you are thinking of ways to make some money, I think its wrong to expect people to buy your product then make them  decide to become an affiliate. My product has universal appeal, I know it will positively help anyone, regardless of their circumstances, by giving the product away, I believe that this will dramatically help the conversion rates of people to become an affiliate of the product.

In order to get a free copy of the product, I will be looking at the concept of having them put up an affiliate link on their site to initially get the product. I do not think that this will be an undue burden on people and they can always take the link down at any time. I am still in the planning stages and these are just ideas, any input you have would be greatly appreciated. What are you willing to do to improve your life? That is a question we all should be asking ourselves, or  at  least the ones that want to improve and change their lives anyways. I have found that people fall into 2 categories, the people who want to really change their lives and are actively looking for ways to do that, and the second group that has basically given up, may have tried in the past and for what ever reason, has decided to basically give up.

The downfall of any owner of an internet home business is falling into the trap of confusing being busy with being productive. Its easy to do, I do it all the time, the difference is, I try to spot when this is happening and work my way back to being productive as soon as I find that I am straying off course. I know  when I am straying off course when I am ignoring my agenda and game plan, yes both of them are tied up in my time management system. One of the ways to stop being busy, which is not a good thing, and start being productive is to have a plan, and work that plan.

Lets look at the concept of being busy and being productive.

1. Being busy is easy, it takes no planning, no preparation, no skill and most of all, its unfortunately the way that the majority of people function. the down side to being busy is that its unproductive, it does not add value to our lives, and in the end, prevents us from doing the priority activities that will benefit us the most.

Being busy gives us the feeling that at the end of a busy day, when  we have been running around doing a 101 one things, that even though we worked hard and were busy, we still have that feeling that we did not have a good day. There is a feeling that we worked hard, did do and accomplish things, but that we should  of and could of done more. The key is, we could not of done more, but we could of easily done more of the RIGHT things. Proper time management is not about doing more, its about doing the right things, its about picking and choosing to do some tasks over other tasks because of the payoff to us in the end.

2. Being busy, by itself, guarantees us nothing, being productive guarantees that we are doing what is best for us. With being busy, you are leaving the quality and the return on your time investment up to chance, with being productive, you are ensuring that what you are doing will give you the best return on your time and energy. You always want control, no matter what,  when you take the time and put in the thought process to make sure that what you are doing is going to be valuable to you, you are making sure the end result will be productive. Running an internet home business requires that the time you have allocated for it is spent on doing the key priorities that will give you the biggest bang for your buck.

3. Yes, you can be busy and productive, no, you can not rely on being busy and having the end result to be productive. One has to lead the other, you need to be sure that what you are doing will result in what you want it to result in, THEN you can be as busy as you want because you have already taken the guess work out of the equation. The other way around, you are just jumping in, getting busy with whatever comes up and hoping against hope that you are some how miraculously doing what you should be doing. Life is too short, too complicated to leave the results we are going to be getting up to chance, that is what you are doing if you are just concerned with being active and busy.

You have to be the person who is driving your agenda, you need to be sure that every day is spent on the activities and tasks that will benefit you and what your goals and dreams are, the best way to do that is too make sure you routinely accomplish your key priorities  on a daily basis, which translates to being  productive and not just busy.

Owning an internet home business can be stressful for a number of reasons. One of the top ones is feeling stressed  out and  over whelmed.The main reason for those feelings is the big one, not being in control. Not being in control takes on a wide range of emotions, the one that I want to deal with today is not having a firm grasp of what is coming down the pike, what is going to be happening to us in the future. This all leads to dealing with and controlling your time, in other words, proper time management. Control your time, you are controlling your life.

Our lives are made up of time. that is the stuff we use on a daily basis to get what we want done, done. If we  are not using our time to it’s maximum potentially, we are simply not getting as much done as we should. One of the key ways we can maximize our time, is to not over load ourselves. This is the problem people who own an internet home business run into and it hurts their production, their ability to function properly and their ultimate enjoyment  of life. That’s a pretty extensive list of things that can be effected when you over load yourself, a list that can be greatly reduced, if not eliminated by taking control of your time and not overloading your schedule.

2 Key Elements

1. Determine what is do able and  sustainable RIGHT now. This is key, unless you are able to maintain your current workload, you are headed for less and less productivity, not more. If you can not maintain the workload you have, you have no chance of adding anything else in the future, let alone adding a new internet home business to your schedule. What you need to do is start eliminating activities and projects until you are at the point that you are completing your tasks for the day AND have some sort of private life that makes all of the work and sacrifices worth while

We need sustainability and we also need balance. One without the other is an incomplete picture and life. Depending on where you are in your life, have a business, want to start an internet home business, either way, you have to be working from a solid platform, a platform that  is workable for today, as well as into the future. Trying to add a new business into a lifestyle that is not currently working for you is just going to end in failure and disappointment for you. You need to give yourself the best possible chance at success, the way to do that is to be able to clear off your plate daily. If you are not able to do that on a regular basis, you are not ready to add anything new to your workload.

2. Start a living life list. I call mine, the power living life list, PLLL,  it was the first one, the original. If you want to reduce your stress levels, you want to get a handle on what you want to do today and 5 years from now, you need an accurate, up to date inventory of what it is you are thinking of doing. That is the start of your PLLL. For a long time, there was a disconnect between what I was trying to accomplish, and what I was able to accomplish, and be happy doing it. After dealing with over 60,000 people in the last 30 plus years on finding the best way to achieve the things we wanted to do, and not go crazy in the process, I learned that we all had something in common. What we had in common was that we all had way too many things on our to do list and far too little time left in our available time inventories.

Our wants and our grasps always exceeded  our abilities to acheive anything close to what we wanted to do. What was  happening to most of us, including me was that we needed up in this stress  filled no mans land where we accomplished less than we should of because of all of the stress, anxiety and angst we felt by not being able to accomplish more. There was the need for a way to collect all of the things we wanted to do, in one place, and control them, instead of them controlling us, which is what we had been allowing to happen, up till that point. Out of this need, the power living life list was born.

For starters, go to this site, powertimemanagementsystems, I own it, and read up on the PLLL, its all free info. There is more than enough info there to start up your own PLLL and get started. The PLLL is probably one of my top 3 tools to allow anyone to get the most out of life. When I created the concept of the PLLL, way back in the stone age, I never really knew what a powerful tool it was, until I started to refine it and make it more a daily part of my time management system. Today, I could not function properly without.
