Stress is the feeling we get when things do not go our way, it’s the feeling we experience when the roof starts to fall in and it goes down hill from there. It’s the feeling we get when we know that it’s not our day, and things will only get worse. The threat that comes with stress is not the actual event that caused us stress in the first place, but the lingering effects that we allow to permeate the rest of the day, weeks, or even months.
